This Burrito Gift Box folds from a flat sheet of US Letter paper into a 3D Burrito, with rice texture on the inside and tortilla texture on the outside. The cut file is suitable for all cutting machines AND hand cutting. Make this ASAP for the burrito lover in your life!
**Foil and paper bag not included (rice and tortilla textures are!)
Using the default size included on US letter paper will yield a box ~2.2″ x 5.5″. The SVG file is easily scaled up in Cricut design space to accommodate larger items.
This design is easy to assemble and will go together very quickly. You will need to “squish” the burrito to get the clasps to latch together, but after the first time assembling these become second nature to latch (trust me)!
Manual/Hand Cut:
1, Print the Rice texture PDF on one side of an 8.5×11 sheet of cardstock.
2, Flip the paper over and print the Hand Cut PDF template (this includes the score lines, outline of box, AND tortilla texture)
3, Once printed, cut along the solid black lines, then score/fold along the dashed lines.
4, Tuck the clasps into the slots to close the burrito, careful not to overfill! ;P
Cricut Design Space:
1, Print the rice texture if desired on one sheet of cardstock, and print the tortilla texture on the opposite side.
2, There will be 2 layers in the SVG cut file. Change the top layer to “Score” and leave the bottom layer as “Cut”. If you are not using the scoring tool, you can delete the layer with the score lines.
2, Attach both items.
3, Make it!
No scoring tool? I have also included files with perforated folds. Simply cut this single shape and the folds will be marked with dashed lines automatically.
These files will download in a compressed/zipped folder. You must be able to unzip a compressed folder in order to use this item. This software is likely already installed on your PC and you will simply need to right-click the folder and select “Unzip” or “Extract”.
