Decorate for fall with these mini mums and barrel planter. This instant download template will provide the shapes needed to make the flowers shown, the color options are endless!

Mums: 2.5″H x 1.5″W

This design is suitable for the following cutting machines:

Instructions
This design will cut easily, but requires multiple colors. Take a look at the images to see the various colors needed for the stems, flowers, and planter.
Mums:
1, Cut the pieces on your cutting machine. There is a single strip for the stems and a group of pieces to make 10 mum flowers.
2, To make the mum: Glue the 4 flower pieces together with the smaller pieces on top, I use a tool to roll/curl mine beforehand (see video).
3, Glue each flower to a stem (10 total).
4, Use a pen or quilling tool to roll the strip in the direction of the arrow. Glue to seal.
Barrel:
5, Glue the two fence/wood pieces on top of one another, so that the planks are alternating. Then curl and glue the ends together to form a cylinder.
6, Glue the two narrow brown strips along the outside of the barrel as shown in the photos.
Plant it:
7, Wrap the soil pieces around the base of your mums, gluing each piece to form a long chain.
8, Without uncoiling, transfer the tightly coiled mums/soil into the planter. As the soil strip slightly uncoils it will hold the flowers in place.

These files will download in a compressed/zipped folder. You must be able to unzip a compressed folder in order to use this item. This software is likely already installed on your PC and you will simply need to right-click the folder and select “Unzip” or “Extract”.
