Wisteria Tree: 3.5″W x 3″H
Planter: 1″H x 1″W
The template is built so that each item (flowers, leaves, trunk, planter) are all separate colors and can be easily cut from different color cardstock. When opening the file, scale your design to 10″ tall before ungrouping in order to mirror the scale shown in the photos.
Instructions
This design is intricate, but very well suited for cutting machines. In depth instructions and tutorial video can be found on my blog here.
Wisteria Tree:
1, Cut the pieces on your cutting machine. There are:
–3 flower branchs
–12 Leaf Bunches
–1 Trunk/base with 3 branches
2, Fold each flower branch in half along the dashed lines. Use a stick to curl each of the five petal stems into a spiral (see video/photos).
3, Roll the tree trunk piece from left to right using a stick/quilling tool to form the base. Three branches should stick out on top in different directions.
4, Glue one flower branch per one brown tree branch. Fold the flaps down and over the wisteria branch you just glued.
5, Top each branch with 4 pieces of leaf bundle. You will notice they have a dashed line in the center to fold along, so that they sit nicely atop each branch.
Planter:
Wrap and glue the long rectangle to form a cylinder. If you would like the wavy texture shown in the listing photos, wrap and glue the wavy piece of paper around the outside of the planter.
Files
These files will download in a compressed/zipped folder. You must be able to unzip a compressed folder in order to use this item. This software is likely already installed on your PC and you will simply need to right-click the folder and select “Unzip” or “Extract”.
